Community Involvement

We believe that businesses have an obligation to their local communities, partnering with regional and national causes. At MSI we collaborate with local non-profits every quarter to help them achieve their mission. MSI’s employee-owners have stepped up to the call by delivering meals, collecting food, and donating needed resources to community organizations.

MSI Takes the Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota

The MSI team dove into the icy waters at the Prior Lake Polar Plunge, raising $3,700 for Special Olympics Minnesota! Our team braved the cold to support a great cause and we’re proud to have made a splash for a wonderful organization. We’re thrilled to have supported this amazing cause and can’t wait to do it again next year!

PCYC Holiday Gift Drive

Our annual Holiday Children’s Gift Sale Drive was a huge success, with an overwhelming number of donations pouring in. The gift donation box was literally bursting open, filling the hearts of everyone involved. PCYC was thrilled to receive our generous contributions and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local children.

3rd Annual Winter Coat Drive

We’re proud to report that our 3rd Annual Winter Coat Drive was a huge success! Our team collected and donated an impressive 55 winter items to CES, helping those in need stay warm and cozy this season. We’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in our community.

The Good Acre

On December 17th, a team of 9 volunteers from Metro Sales Inc. came together to pack 76 CSA boxes and 60 gift boxes at The Good Acre. This event allowed us to give back to the community while connecting with each other outside of the office. We’re excited for future opportunities, including winter CSAs and flexible volunteering shifts starting in May.

Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

We took the plunge!! The MSI team dove into the icy waters at the Prior Lake Polar Plunge on February 17th, 2024, raising $4,200 for Special Olympics Minnesota!
